Pegasus Engineering Ltd as a structural steel specialist company, is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all our Employees, Contractors, Sub-contractors and Visitors. 

We have a strong focus on reducing the risk of injuries and workplace illnesses, the Safety and Wellbeing of any persons in our areas of work is our highest priority. 

We actively promote and encourage all those who enter our work environment to look out for each other’s personal safety and wellbeing. 

We maintain our Health & Safety systems to a high level by regularly monitoring and reviewing our processes with a view to continuous development and improvement to ensure we comply with the HSWA 2015 and all relevant legislation.

Our employees and contractors are consulted and encouraged to be actively involved with all aspects of health, safety and wellbeing in our workplace and are regularly provided opportunities to provide feedback. 

Our Management and staff receive the appropriate training and hold the required certifications/unit standards to be able to perform their job safely. A system of supervision is in place to effectively manage new or transferred employees to a task. 

All site workers that work on project sites hold a Site Safe Passport as a minimum. We have workers who are competently trained and certified in the following courses (not limited to only these):

  • US23960, 23962, 23966 - MEWP

  • US17600, 23229, 25045 - Working at Heights

  • US24511, 3795 – Crane Operations

  • US3789 - Dogman/Rigging

  • US6400, 6401, 6402 Comprehensive First Aid

  • Welding certifications (various)

Pegasus Engineering Ltd is a member of Site Safe and Sitewise accredited (Green Status).


Site Safety Management Plans (SSMP’s) are detailed and tailored to each project requirements.

We have documented Task Analysis/SWMS’s which we review on a regular basis and take into consideration any change in conditions. 

Audits and inspections are regularly conducted on our work areas.
